Your first step in Ashtanga
You do not need to know the sequence or arrive ready for a group. The first classes are there to show you how the practice works.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS
Why begin individually?
Lucas recommends two private online classes if you are new to Ashtanga or do not yet feel confident with the method. It is a guided beginning, with time to ask questions, try the first movements and understand the class format before joining a group.
In a Mysore class, people with different levels of experience practise at the same time. To participate with some independence, it helps to know the beginning of the sequence and how to ask for guidance. Private classes make room for that learning.
THE INTRODUCTORY PATH
Two individual classes
In sessions lasting one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes, you learn about breath, the structure of practice and the beginning of the sequence.
A next step agreed together
After those classes, you decide together whether the online group makes sense or whether further private guidance would help. Joining a group is not automatic.
The two-class introductory package is R$ 760 for residents in Brazil. A single private class is R$ 390. Lucas confirms availability and payment details on WhatsApp.

After the first two classes
You decide the next step with Lucas. If you are ready to practise with some independence, you may join an online group. If you need more time, you can continue privately. The move between formats is never automatic.
